SHIPPING POLICY

Products that are in stock in the www.rainbows.shop warehouse ship within three to five business days. Some products ship directly from the manufacturer and may require extra time to ship. In general, you can expect your order in 2 to 10 business days (business days are Monday through Friday, excluding post office holidays). The exact time frames will vary depending upon your location, the location the products are shipping from, and the shipping option you choose.

Your individual order may originate from multiple locations and be shipped separately. If this happens, you will receive an email confirmation and tracking number for each shipment. We make every effort to keep items in stock but from time to time, products go on back order. If that happens, we will notify you and you can either wait for item to arrive, substitute another item, or cancel your order and receive a refund for the item on back order. Some bulky items may have additional shipping costs. Any additional costs will be included as a handling cost and noted on the product detail page for that item.

For Canadian, shipments, our shipping rates include transportation and customs clearance, but do not include any import duties or taxes. Duties, taxes, and fees (if any) are the recipient's responsibility and are due upon delivery. If a package is refused by the recipient, we reserve the right to charge your card for all costs associated with the unsuccessful delivery.

 

International buyers are encouraged to use their own carriers and may create their personal accounts via Shipito.com or other similar carriers to accommodate their needs. 

 

SHIPPING COSTS

Shipping costs depend upon the weight of your shipment, the method of shipping and the address for delivery. Once you place the items in your shopping cart, just enter your zip code in the box underneath the words “estimate shipping & tax”. Then click on “estimate shipping” to view the shipping charges via UPS for your order and select your shipment method accordingly. Ground shipping is generally the least costly method for most shipments.

Please allow the lead-time for delivery depending on the product type, color, model, manufacturer, and other factors. Please Note: THE SHIPPING TIMES WE QUOTE ARE ONLY ESTIMATES, NOT GUARANTEES. When it comes to order times we are depending on the factory, and freight carriers to provide us with the estimated ship date. Some specialty furniture carriers use third party carriers for some delivery locations, and are unable to provide up to the minute tracking information that is common for small packages. Please understand we are doing our best to ensure best deliveries suited for your product.

DELAYS

Delays in production and shipping may occur. If a delay occurs, don't panic. We will work hard to get your purchase to you, but please keep in mind that we work with high-ticket and large items, which come from all over the world. In most cases, delays occur during busy seasons, holidays, due to production delays, or other factors not in our control. We will make all efforts to quote accurate lead times and notify all our customers promptly. Please note that we are not responsible for product delays from the manufacturer. Under no circumstances will modernfurnishings.com be responsible for any consequential damages resulting in shipping delays. Due to increased security by governments, customs delay may also occur, which is beyond our control.
